Roche opens IT delivery centre in Mahindra Satyam’s India facility.

Healthcare company Roche Products (India) has made Hyderabad the home of its offshore delivery centre. The Roche Offshore Delivery Centre (ODC) is housed in Mahindra Satyam's Infocity campus as part of the collaboration on IT services between the two global companies.

Roche, which focuses on personalised healthcare products, and Mahindra Satyam, a global consulting and IT services provider, has been working on the delivery centre early this year with collaborative delivery of multiple services for the Process Alignment Program (PAP) to support the IT Lifecycle Services.

The collaboration continues and the Hyderabad delivery centre is the new home for development, testing and project management of applications for IT Lifecycle Services.

Christian Hebich, global head, IT end-user & operations services, Roche, inaugurated the delivery centre.

" 'Partnering for Success' reflects our organisational commitment to seamlessly collaborate with Roche IT and treat their end-customers as our own. Our acknowledged and proven excellence in delivery quality will be leveraged even further, to support Roche's accelerated business growth," said Vikram Nair, senior vice president & head, Mahindra Satyam Europe.

Dr. Girish Telang, vice-chairman & managing director, Roche Products (India), said the partnership allows them to deliver more value to their customers. It also reflects Roche's confidence in India's knowledge-based IT industry.
