Third-party SAP and Oracle software support company Rimini Street has expanded its European business by opening a new operations centre in London's Canary Wharf.
Rimini Street recently reported 36 percent year-on-year sales growth in the EMEA region for the 12 months ended March. The new Canary Wharf office will be led by Jill Harrison, Rimini Street's managing director of Europe and Africa.
"We are committing additional resources to expand our footprint and capabilities in the region," said Harrison. Rimini claims it can slash up to 90 percent off annual software support costs for SAP and Oracle products and extend their life by an additional 15 years.
Rimini Street says it has signed up more than 60 Oracle and SAP clients in the EMEA region. In the last 12 months, Rimini Street has also doubled the number of its Europe-based support engineers.
Oracle has gone to war with Rimini in response to lost maintenance and support revenue streams.
