Digital imaging and printing solutions firm Ricoh has boosted its presence in the southern region of Malaysia with a new, expanded office in the state of Johor Bahru (JB).
Peter Wee, chief operating office for Ricoh Malaysia, said the new 5,600 sq ft office is in tune with the company's objectives in Malaysia and the region.
"Consistent with our tagline, 'Imagine.Change', Ricoh Malaysia strives to reinvent ourselves and our services in order to move forward and continue growing," said Wee/ "As Johor Bahru becomes an increasingly vibrant and emerging business hub, we believe that the time has now come for RICOH Malaysia to enhance our footprint in Johor Bahru."
"Our Johor office will support and complement our existing services as a leader in total office and business solutions, enabling us to better serve the needs of our growing customer base in Malaysia's southern region and beyond," he said.
The new branch office, which will focus on sales and services in the southern region, will house up to 30 staff, said Wee, adding that specific products will be on display including the Production Printer (PP) Colour product, Wide Format printers and communication products.
"The new and improved branch office currently houses 19 staff and allows RICOH Malaysia to work closely with its Singaporean counterparts as well as support the needs of local customers," he added.
