Online property group, PropertyGuru, is leveraging virtual reality to allow their customers better visualise a property - whether it is still under construction or in the pre-selling stage.

The 360 degree virtual reality experience was introduced at the PropertyGuru Great Singapore Specials (PGSS) campaign which aims to showcase new way of presenting properties to potential buyers.

Using a virtual reality googles, customers will immerse in a simulated tour and be able to explore the property like they were inspecting it in real life.

"We understand the challenges that property seekers face - market uncertainty and lack of market transparency. With a platform like PGSS, we help prospective buyers identify the smart buys in the market, by providing them unbiased reviews of the latest launches and exclusive discounts from participating developers," said Bjorn Sprengers, Chief Marketing Officer of PropertyGuru, in a press release.

"On top of that, we use new technology to showcase an industry-first in Singapore - a mobile Virtual Reality Showroom - to redefine the home buying experience. We've always been passionate about bringing the latest technologies to people's fingertips. Through VR, we help property seekers better visualise new projects, making house-hunting more efficient," Sprengers continued.

In line, PropertyGuru has planned roadshows in three malls across Singapore to bring the virtual reality experience to the general public.
