Parallels renames its Service Provider business unit to Odin

This move will allow the company to better serve distinct sets of customers and partners, according to Parallels’ CEO.

Software company Parallels recently announced the rebranding of its Service Provider business unit. As of March 25, the unit will operate as Odin (, while the Cross-Platform Solutions unit will continue to operate as Parallels.

According to Birger Steen, CEO of Parallels, operating under two distinct brands will enable the company to better serve customers, address market shifts and capitalise on the potential of the two businesses.

Providing software that powers the cloud ecosystem, Odin delivers industry expertise, a catalog of in-demand cloud applications, and a wide selection of software including web server management, server virtualisation, provisioning, and billing automation.

With offices in 15 countries, Odin supports more than 10,000 service providers in delivering applications and cloud services to more than 10 million SMBs.
