The deal will deliver domestic and international services as well as managed services over Optus' managed data network and was based on a wide range of criteria including partnering approach and regional delivery capability.

Virgin Australia, Chief Information Officer, Lawrie Turner said it was a significant step in the transformation of Virgin Australia's technology delivery and that he looked forward to realising the benefits of an expanded regional relationship with Optus and the SingTel Group.
