OIC emergency response team signs with Asia Pacific counterpart

CyberSecurity Malaysia: the agreement between the Organisation for Islamic Cooperation and Asia Pacific computer emergency response teams is another step forward in collaborative cyber security efforts.

APCERT cooperates with CERTs (Computer Emergency Response Teams) and CSIRTs (Computer Security Incident Response Teams) to ensure Internet security in the Asia Pacific region based around genuine information sharing, trust and cooperation. At present, the APCERT membership consists of 19 full members and eight general members from 18 economies within the Asia Pacific region.
