Network security policy management vendor, AlgoSec, has inked a new distribution deal with Observatory Crest, and is expanding its Australian presence.
According to the vendor, the moves were on the back of experiencing 148 per cent increase in sales during the past two years in Australia. "Since Australia became an active region for us several years ago, we have experienced strong sales and in turn, a growing customer base that we've worked very hard to keep satisfied," AlgoSec APAC general manager, Guy Givoni, said. "Our increased investment and focus in Australia will allow us to further enhance our customer service and partners to meet complex security management challenges." The vendor has hired a new business solutions architect in Australia, Mike Landwehr. He previously worked for Symantec and Precise Software.
AlgoSec maintains relationships with Dimension Data, BT and IBM.
The AlgoSec Security Management Suite, enables companies to automate security policy management for firewalls, routers, VPNs, secure web gateways and related security infrastructure. "Network security infrastructure and policies are only increasing in complexity, which impacts both security and the operations of a business," Observatory Crest director, Martin Christmas, said.
