Nokia's upcoming Lumia 820 and 920 smartphones have been leaked online via Twitter.
The images which apparently show the upcoming Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 have been posted on Twitter by @evleaks. According to The Telegraph, Nokia and Microsoft are holding an event in New York this week where they will unveil the new Windows Phone8 handsets. See also: Group test: what's the best Windows phone?
There are little details given along with the leaked photos. The Lumia 920 will supposedly have a 4.5in display with PureView and the Lumia 820 will have a 4.3in screen and more choice of colours.
It's unclear whether the two images are legitimate or high quality fakes but the devices do look similar in design to the existing Lumia 800 and Lumia 900. The same Twitter account leaked images of an 'Unknown HTC Android tablet, 2012'.
The scheduled Nokia and Microsoft event is exactly one week before Apple is expected to reveal its next generation iPhone, believed to be the iPhone 5.
Nokia has been struggling to keep up with the likes of Apple and other rivals such as Samsung in the smartphone market. It will be hoping that Windows Phone 8 will give it a much needed boost.
