Ninetology opens flagship store in Malaysian mall

Mobile device firm Ninetology Malaysia has launched its flagship Touch Point at Plaza Low Yat mall in Kuala Lumpur during the 56th anniversary celebrations of the country's independence.

Ninetology Malaysia head of channel Eddy Tay said: "The launch, in conjunction with our Independence Day, has significant meaning to us as a mobile device technology maker who has made its mark throughout Asean within less than two years. We are truly grateful for the government's efforts in fostering an environment, which is conducive for business as well as for people to enjoy and celebrate various lifestyles and cultures."

"Our flagship Touch Point celebrates this freedom of expression with a wide offering of smartphones that caters to consumers with a wide variety of interests including technology, fashion, sports and so forth," said Tay. "Here at our Touch Point, we do not only show our products, but it is a place where consumers can learn how to use a smartphone to enhance their lifestyles and interests. The flagship Touch Point will serve as a youth and culture training hub to spread the urbanite culture that is cultivated by Ninetology."

"Our smartphones are not just communication tools, but a device that can advance one's social visibility, thus opening doors to more opportunities. In fact, we have a surprise coming soon for all Android users, regardless of smartphone brands, so watch out for more announcements," he said.

Plaza Low Yat was chosen as it "is Malaysia's largest IT lifestyle mall" said Tay. "The ability to secure a space here speaks volumes about the strength and potential of our brand. This year, we will be opening eight more Flagship Touch Points within the Klang Valley (total nine), and another nine within Malaysia next year. These will be bigger and better to serve our growing customers' needs."
