NEXTDC has introduced its new partner program, bringing with it three unique partner tiers.
One tier is aimed at premier partners, whom have an existing footprint with NEXTDC and are focused on reselling data space and co-location services.
The other tier is for service provider partners, which NEXTDC channel general manager, Steve Martin, said includes partners who are building their own as-a-Service and hosting it within NEXTDC.
"Service providers are joining us at a rapid rate, and it's a very important and rapidly growing part of our business, both locally and internationally," he said.
The third tier targets solutions partner, which includes global software or hardware providers that have built a Cloud or as-a-Service platform, and are hosting the Australian presence of their Australian Cloud with NEXTDC.
"Different partners require different benefits, and we've been able to tailor to that with the partner program," Martin said.
Gathering around the portal
In addition to the partner program, NEXTDC has released its Cloud Centre portal for partners and customers.
Martin said it allows partners and customers to advertise their products and services to other organisations within the NEXTDC eco-system, as well as prospective partners and customers looking to join the datacentre company.
"Cloud Centre is about NEXTDC creating leads and opportunities for the companies within our eco-system today," he said.
Also launching with the portal is an opportunity registration program.
Martin said this initiative rewards premier partners with additional profitability for opportunities they discover for co-location services and then bring to NEXTDC for hosting.
"These additions are really about us stepping up and increasing the level of commitment to partners across the country," he said.
