Mothercare partners Manhattan Associates to support its global multi-channel programme

Manhattan’s Supply Chain Commerce solutions will help Mothercare provide faster and more convenient fulfilment options to its customers, according to a media statement.

Mothercare, the newborn and parenting products retailer, has announced its partnership with supply chain commerce solutions provider Manhattan Associates to support its global programme to deliver a multi-channel experience to its customers.

Under this partnership, Mothercare will deploy Manhattan's Supply Chain Commerce solutions to provide faster and more convenient fulfilment options to its customers.

According to a joint media statement, these solutions will allow Mothercare to make store stock available for online sales, and support more efficient customer process to speed up delivery options through express click and collect services and ship from store.

"Implementing our solutions will give Mothercare visibility and fulfilment optimisation within its supply chain and retail operations, allowing it to deliver a more diverse range of fulfilment options to meet the demands of today's consumer," said Craig Sears-Black, UK managing director, at Manhattan Associates.

Matt Stringer, chief operating officer at Mothercare added that this investment in Manhattan's solutions will help the company to transform its business.

"We're building our capabilities to provide a 'best in class' multi-channel experience - offering our customers what they want, when they want, and how they want it," he said.

The implementation is expected to go live in early 2015.
