Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Singapore strengthens its digital efforts

Launches an online estimator tool, a customer portal, and an Android App to enable its customers to interact directly with the brand.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) Singapore recently launched three new online tools aimed at enabling its existing and new customers to directly interact with the brand. The tools include an Online Payment Estimator, a customer online portal, and the myMBFS Android app.

The Online Payment Estimator allows visitors to the Mercedes-Benz website to estimate the monthly finance and insurance payments of current models on sale. It can also provide a gauge of the monthly lease rate based on the latest Certificate of Entitlement (COE) price. After receiving the estimated figures, visitors can then complete the online form to ask for a quotation or arrange a test drive with the authorised dealers.

The customer online portal, myMBFS.com.sg, enables existing customers who finance their vehicles with MBFS to access their vehicle's account information at any time. Customers can use it to view their contract and account details, check payment status and repayment schedule, and obtain early payoff estimates. As the portal is mobile optimised, it is accessible via the smartphone browser.

Following the release of the myMBFS app for Apple's iOS platform in November last year, the app is now made compatible with Android smartphones and tablets. This Android app also extends the app's payment estimator features.

All three apps are developed in Singapore by the Daimler Financial Services Africa & Asia Pacific (DFS AAP) regional office, and Singaporean app developer, Appvantage Pte Ltd.
