Maxthon: Browser touts cloud-based features that work across different platforms
While it's still basically Google Chrome in a different chassis, nearly everything about Maxthon Cloud Browser (v4.1) works better than its predecessor.
Bottom line
Maxthon's boastful marketing rubbed me the wrong way, especially since its actual performance didn't meet the hype. But there's otherwise nothing wrong with Maxthon--and it does more than a few things right. It wasn't my cup of tea, but especially given its cloud browsing abilities, it might be yours.
