Malaysian IT distributor Pacific InTech has clinched the Rookie of the Year award in the APAC region during Fortinet's global partner conference held recently on a cruise in the Caribbean.
Fortinet's vice president for Southeast Asia & Hong Kong Dato' Seri George Chang, said, "With its strong reseller base and impeccable track record in driving network security sales, Pacific InTech has expanded Fortinet's business in Malaysia through broad-based diversification."
"The award recognises Pacific InTech's core competency in managing a wide range of security solutions that help our customers optimise their security environment for greater protection and cost efficiency," said Chang, adding that the global partner conference was the company's largest to date.
The company also launched its Connected UTM Platform during the event designed to enable businesses to simplify their complex networks, improve management, ensure seamless policy enforcement and reduce total cost of ownership.
