Malaysian tourism minister launches Kaspersky Lab safety programme

AvantiKumar | Dec. 2, 2011
Malaysia's tourism minister, Dato’ Sri Dr Ng Yen Yen, endorses Russian security solution firm Kaspersky Lab's CSR programme at Low Yat Plaza shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur.

Low Yat Plaza general manager, property management & operations, Michael Lee, said Plaza Low Yat tenants are at high risk of cyber threats since much of the business at the mall is conducted digitally. "Our tenants need superior online security because an increasing percentage of their business transactions store credit card details, contact information, purchase history and other confidential information. By providing Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 to Plaza Low Yat tenants, Kaspersky is protecting the tenants' databases, transaction records and vital digital information, while educating them on Internet security so that they can serve their customers even better. It is a win-win-win situation all around."
