Malaysian online shoppers will have a different 'e-tail' experience when using a new mobile site, said online shopping mall operator Zalora Malaysia, which specialises in fashion and beauty products and services.
Zalora Malaysia managing director Leow Wee Jonn said the launch of the official mobile site would continue to change the Malaysian e-tail landscape. "The Zalora mobile site will bring unprecedented ease to the online shoppers in Malaysia."
"According to a study by Paypal, mCommerce market is expected to grow ten-fold by 2013 - We aim to become an integral part of the move towards making shopping on mobile devices mainstream," said Leow.
"Zalora would continue to rapidly expand by adding 'on-the-go-shopping to its repertoire of convenience-centric qualities, within a mode of shopping already recognised for its value of 24x7 accessibility," he said.
"This new mobile site comes on the back of a website re-design and webshop version upgrade for a better overall start-to-end user experience centred around a fresher look," said Leow. "There is enhanced on-site category organisation as well as a faster on-site processing speed. Aside from enjoying the Zalora Malaysia browsing experience, which is optimised for mobile phone displays, shoppers can also overcome any credit-card security concerns through Zalora's cash-on-delivery option allowing shoppers to purchase with just a tap on their mobile screens."
