Free mobile voice and text app platform launched in beta on Google Play.

Maaii has arrived on the Android platform. And it's free.

According to a statement by the creators of Maii, this multi-platform mobile application that allows users to make calls and send text messages to contacts and social network friends, has been launched in beta on Google Play.

In the six months since Maaii's iOS launch, the mobile app has attracted more than one million registered users, said official sources.

"Our inclusion in Google Play demonstrates Maaii's commitment to delivering extraordinary value to our growing user base," said Chris Lewis, vice president for Maaii. "The successful launch of our iOS app resulted in a cascade of requests for access to our Android app and we've responded by opening up our beta testing to the public. The results thus far have been staggering, with tens of thousands of testers already participating."

Maaii for Android features all of the key functions the iOS version provides such as Predictive Dialing, Social Sync, and International Voice Roaming.

The Android application can be downloaded from Google Play and from the iTunes Store globally.
