A new range of Windows 8 ready peripherals has been launched in Malaysia, including new mice and keyboards that replicate the touch-screen experience, according to digital accessories firm Logitech.

Logitech regional director Southeast Asia Prasenjit Sarkar said easy of use and intuitive navigation benefits were the hallmarks of the new range, which includes the Logitech Touch Mouse T620, Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 and Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400r, all of which are specifically designed to work with the Windows 8 touch interface.

"This new family of products takes the traditional mouse functionality you're used to and optimises it for the navigation experience offered by Windows 8," said Sarkar. "Our new mice and keyboard replicate the touch-screen experience that you've grown accustomed to on smartphones and tablets. With Windows 8 now offering a similar touch experience, our products give you quick, easy and dynamic access to the core elements of the new interface."

The Logitech Touch Mouse T620, Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 and the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400r are expected to be available in Malaysia beginning November 2012.
