The LG G3 hasn't launched yet although you can read our full review, but rumours of the LG G3 mini have appeared online. Here we take a look at the possible LG G3 mini release date, price and specs.
Information has appeared on the LG G3 mini on Zauba, a site which details Indian imports and exports. The smartphone is listed as the LGD722 but do take this information with a pinch of salt as it could be way off. We've not heard anything from LG on a mini version of the G3 yet.
LG G3 mini: Release date
Since LG hasn't made any mention of an LG G3 mini to date, a release date for the device is somewhat up in the air. If the 31 May 2014 date on the Zauba listing is correct and the phone really exists then we could hear something soon. Stay tuned and we'll keep you informed.
LG G3 mini: Price
A price is also difficult to predict but going by the information here, the LG G3 mini is worth 13,000 Rupees which is around £130. Presumably that's an import cost and not what the phone will sell for to consumers.
The LG G2 mini currently costs £250 and hasn't been around that long. If LG does launch a G3 mini soon we expect it to fetch around £350. However, going by the leaked specs, that wouldn't be a very good deal at all.
LG G3 mini: Specs
The LG G3 mini will supposedly feature a 4.5in screen, the resolution isn't listed. What's interesting is that this is even smaller than the G2 mini which has a 4.7in display. It will match it predecessor with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 8GB of internal storage.
More odd specs include a lower resolution camera at 5Mp and a lower capacity battery at 2100mAh. The G2 mini has an 8Mp camera and a 2440mAh battery.
This is one of those leaks which smells a bit fishy to us but keep an eye out on this page for updates as and when we here more on the LG G3 mini. Let us know what you would want from the phone in the comment below.
