Computer manufacturer Lenovo, which is continuing its aggressive expansion into the mobile devices sector, has unveiled in Malaysia its new S-Series smartphone - the Lenovo S850.
Lenovo Malaysia country general manager Khoo Hung Chuan said the S850 was a next generation smartphone, which offered high performance and smart features at a new price point to meet the increasingly mobile lifestyle of Malaysians.
Khoo said that the new smartphone was equipped with quad-core MediaTek (MTK) processors and running Android Kit Kat. "The smartphone boasts powerful new features, including sharp image capture functions and Lenovo's range of DOit apps. The device comes with dual SIM capability as well as wide-angle front cameras and flash-equipped rear cameras that snap and share amazing photos."
"The new S850 smartphone perfectly complements the full range of mobile devices available to consumers around the world, letting consumers easily pick the Lenovo smartphone that's right for them," he said. "Customers from around the world told us that they wanted greater user experience without sacrificing performance, so we built this smartphone with style and blazing fast processing speeds to maximise the onboard range of integrated Lenovo apps."
In addition, Khoo said that fashion-conscious users would appreciate the S850 for "its remarkably thin and lightweight all-glass exterior, available in pink, white or blue. The sleek design encases a true mobile machine with13MP rear and 5MP front cameras for snapping and sharing high quality photos and a large 5-inch screen for watching content in high definition."

"We are extremely heartened to partner with an established technological brand such as Lenovo which continues to grow exponentially in the smartphone market. With this additional contribution and support, this partnership allows us to further raise awareness on breast cancer amongst the public," said Dr. Zahara Ayub, president, Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia.
