Digital and imaging solutions firm Canon Marketing Malaysia has launched five large format multifunction printer (MFP) imaging solutions that offer both fast and effective large format scanning, copying and printing, it said.
The imagePROGRAF (iPF) series - the iPF750, iPF760, iPF765, iPF815 and iPF825 - are the new MFP solutions, which are configured to meet the unique needs of professionals in industries ranging from architecture, engineering and construction to government, education and retail, according to Canon Marketing Malaysia's assistant director, business imaging solution, Ooi Chik Hoe.
"Designed for both technical and general purpose document management, these versatile imagePROGRAF large format MFP solutions address the diverse needs of applications ranging from technical computer-aided design (CAD) and geographic information systems (GIS) documents to marketing collaterals, classroom materials and learning aids," said Ooi.
"Offering a complete scan-to-copy, -file, -email and print solution, the imagePROGRAF MFP imaging solutions also deliver greater efficiency and productivity to a wide variety of businesses and organisations," he said.
"Architects, project managers and engineers for example can easily edit, scan and send CAD drawings in the office or even at remote field locations. Users can also easily scan and share technical drawings with handwritten annotations with relevant parties," said Ooi.
"The solutions offer fast, high quality printing with precise 4pl ink droplet for high image clarity, detail and resolution of 2,400 x 1,200 dots-per-inches (dpi)," he said.
"Each imagePROGRAF MFP imaging solution includes a CiC40 color scanner with 40-inch scan width and true 600 dpi optical resolution, scanning at speeds up to 10 inches per second with Contact Image Sensor technology," Ooi said.
Equipped up to 250 GB of printer hard disk drive capacity, the MFP imaging solutions also deliver enhanced efficiency by allowing users to directly scan, share and save the files via network and email, he said.
In addition to a large-format scanner, five-colour printer and SmartWorks MFP software, each of the complete workflow solutions includes a reprographic stand and a large touch-screen monitor for greater ease of use.
The imagePROGRAF MFP imaging systems are available in Malaysia now at authorised Canon distributors and dealers.
