A new report from China not only provides the launch date of the iPhone 6 but also its size and pricing details.
According to the the China.com report (via GforGames), this 5.5-inch iPhone 6 variant will be called iPhone Air.
The report claims Apple will unveil the iPhone 6 on September 15 (Monday) and it will be retailing from September 25 (Thursday).
This seems a bit unlikely as Apple traditionally starts sales of new iPhone models on Fridays to cash in on the weekend sales. An earlier leak had indicated a launch date of September 19 (Friday).
According to the China.com report, the first country to receive the new iPhone will be China.
The report's pricing details match previous leaks about the new smartphone.
The same report claimed that China Mobile and China Unicom, Apple's carriers in the country, have begun field testing the iPhone 6 on their networks.
Recently, Japanese daily Nikkei had leaked images of the new iPhone that the next iPhone will have the power button on the right panel of the device, instead on the top panel and will also feature the Touch ID sensor. This information corroborates earlier leaks.
