At the inaugural Huawei Southern Pacific Partner Conference held in Singapore on May 7, the Chinese information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider unveiled some new enterprise solutions.
The first was the Huawei AR series Agile Branch Gateway, which aims to integrate routing, switching, voice, security, WLAN and VPN functions. According to Huawei, this solution helps to meet the diversified needs of today's enterprises as well as significantly lower the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Based on the X86 or ARM platform, the agile branch gateway allows enterprise customers to extend cloud capability to anywhere the customers need - such as enterprise office applications, unified communications, Android App and others - achieving application, network, and information openness while implementing value-added platform to partners.
Huawei said that it is the first to leverage innovative SDN and NFV architecture in the industry, as well as the first to implement lifecycle management of ICT resources.
In addition, Huawei also unveiled OceanStor V3 to help enterprises embrace cloud computing and converged storage to make business agile.
Huawei's OceanStor V3 has five innovative convergences: convergence of SAN and NAS, convergence of all level, convergence of SSD and HDD, convergence of primary and backup, and convergence of Heterogeneous. At the core of these five convergences is the OceanStor OS, which eliminates data silos, allowing the free flow of data to make business more agile.
