Hewlett-Packard has launched a 10.1-inch ElitePad 900 targeted at enterprise users in Singapore's private and public sectors.
Serena Yong, general manager of printing and personal systems at HP Singapore, expressed the difficulties businesses face in finding a product that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
"The HP ElitePad meets all those tests. It combines the great style and user experience consumers demand with the features IT requires," she said.
The Windows 8 Pro tablet supports drive encryption via BitLocker and features the productivity-enhancing ecosystem of HP Smart Jackets, adding connectivity options and an additional ultra-slim battery for longer runtime.
Armed with a full aluminum body, the ultra-thin (9.2mm) and lightweight (630g) tablet offers similar functions found in HP Elite PCs, including full serviceability, enhanced security and manageability.
The ergonomically designed tablet also provides power efficiency and smartphone-style convenience with compatibility for familiar Windows applications, as well as easy integration into existing IT environments.
For business users, information sharing has been simplified through a seamless synchronisation across devices by Evernote while additional captions and images can be collaborated easily through the Skitch software.
With a long-life cycle, stable image and protection from HP Global Series Support and HP Client Security, the enterprise tablet is a nifty addition for businesses.
The HP ElitePad 900 is now retailing from S$1099 (US$892) at HP Experiences Stores and HP Online Store.
