Harvey Norman ventures into laptop sector, unveils 2-in-1 device exclusively for Malaysians

Harvey Norman has ventured into the laptop category with the launch of its Charge Plus 2-in-1 device made exclusively for Malaysians, said the electrical, computers and home goods retailer.
 "Harvey Norman Malaysia is excited to collaborate on this new partnership with Intel Malaysia and Microsoft Malaysia," said Danny Lau, general manager, Computers and Communications Dept, Harvey Norman.

"The Charge Plus 2-in-1 has been carefully and selectively chosen to suit the local market demand. We want our customer to feel proud of owning an exclusive Charge Plus 2-in-1, with multiple usage and high versatility to suit an easy lifestyle!" said "Danny" Lau.
He said that the 2-in-1 device was Harvey Norman Malaysia's first foray into developing its own line of laptops with combination of style and quality.

Lau said the Intel-powered device, exclusively available in Malaysia, was designed for mobile productivity.

The Charge Plus 2-in-1 is an 11.6 inch laptop with a detachable keyboard designed with a metal body and is powered by Intel's quad-core Intel Atom Z8300 processors.
