Startup offers pre-teeners’ parents option to oversee children’s content access.

There is now a new social network that has launched, that enables pre-teeners' parents to oversee all connections, engagements and online content their children access.

A press statement by the Singapore-based startup said their company launched only recently, having received US $1 million in angel investor funding in 2013.

"Safe Spaces"

As a social network, it offers members "safe spaces" for them to discuss topics on their fields of interest.

The press statement said GeckoLife intends to grow its presence in Singapore and expand into markets throughout the Asia-Pacific while evolving its offerings.

It presently has offices in Australia, India and the United States even as it claims an initial user base of 5000.

The press statement said its mobile-friendly app is available for free on the App Store and at Google Play.
