A 48-year-old man from Bristol, Illinois has been arrested after calling 911 five times to complain about his broken iPhone.

The incidents were recorded by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office and picked up by The Smoking Gun website.

Michael Alan Skopec was arrested at his home in the early hours of Wednesday morning after police traced the calls. He apparently "refused to comply with orders from deputies" and was charged with obstructing or resisting a peace officer.

It isn't clear exactly what was wrong with Skopec's iPhone, or what he wanted the police to do about it. He is due to appear in court on 18 November.
