Dimension Data is preparing for a major market expansion in Malaysia with the promotion of three key staff into COO, Head of Sales and Head of Business Units & Alliances roles, said the ICT solutions and services provider.
Dimension Data Malaysia managing director Chong Hoi Ming announced the following three promotions.
Henrick Choo (pic) takes up the newly-created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Chong said: "Henrick will lead the Sales, Business Units (SDG) and Services Unit (MS, PS, TS) to further enhance operational excellence, increasing sales growth and profitability. His new responsibilities will help enable our company to continue fine-tuning operations and at same time drive the execution of our corporate strategies for our continued growth. Henrick will continue reporting to me.
Choo has more than 20 years of sales experience in the ICT industry with the last nine years spent with Dimension Data.
Alex Loh (pic) is now Head of Sales
"Alex has been promoted from Head of Solutions Development Group & Alliances and Cloud, to the position of Head of Sales. In his new role, Alex will assume the full responsibilities for the sales team to drive the overachievement of our sales targets, creating go-to-market strategies and aligning our sales resources appropriately to the market demands and our strategy. He will report into the newly created COO office helmed by Henrick Choo and Head of Sales of DDAP, Wong Wen Ming."
Loh originally joining Dimension Data in year 2000 as senior engineer for project management and uptime champion.
Kevin Siow (pic) is now Head of Business Units & Alliance
"Dimension Data Malaysia is Kevin's first and only employer, and now 14 years later; he is a clear example of continued achievements, hard work and commitment to the organisation," said Chong. "There's no doubt that his stellar work performance and drive to shatter sales targets has been a huge milestone in his promotion."
All three management positions will help bolster Dimension Data's position in Malaysia's ICT industry, said Chong.
