PAN is a Californian network security vendor which targets enterprises, government and service providers. Its appliances address threat protection, firewall, IDS/IPS, and URL filtering.
The tool, PANassist, is a remote install service intended for partners still developing their own in-house expertise, or existing PAN partners that require additional support.
It will be delivered by DC's Firewall Systems business unit through ChannelSupport, a technical assistance centre manned by technical engineers.
"Since signing on as a PAN distributor last year, we have been recruiting new partners which need some additional support as they go through the certification process, so we decided to launch this new service in response to our partners' needs," DC executive chairman, Scott Frew, said.
