During the Malaysia channel event, Dell's senior executives launched the company's latest solutions for small and medium businesses (SMBs) and enterprises.
The enhanced networking portfolio comprises the new X-Series family of smart-managed 1GbE and 10GbE switches, as well as an expansion of the N-Series family with the addition of the Dell N1500.
- The Dell XC Series Version 2.0 appliances have expanded Dell's broad software-defined storage (SDS) portfolio and will help to streamline the data centre. It will also provide customers with faster application performance, greater density and greater flexibility.
- The Networking X-Series and N-Series are a family switches designed to meet the needs of SMBs and give them the ability to grow their networks at a flexible and affordable rate, said the company.
"We've seen strong customer interest in our debut Dell XC Series appliances, and our newest offerings substantially raise the bar," said William Tan, head of enterprise solutions, Dell Malaysia. "The new web-scale converged appliances add greater configuration flexibility and pack more performance and capacity into our 13th generation servers, making them even more compelling for customers looking to adopt a newer, integrated systems model for delivering IT to their organizations."

The new X-Series family of smart-managed switches will help SMB customers with advanced network management without needing professional IT support. It can be achieved through features such as intuitive work flow management, traffic visibility and real-time control of Cloud optimisation and onsite network applications.
