Following the integration with print solutions firm Océ Malaysia, digital imaging solutions provider Canon Marketing Malaysia (Canon) has announced a partnership with Efficient SofTech in Malaysia.

During the announcement at the opening of Efficient SofTech's first flagship store in Damansara Utama, Canon Singapore president and chief executive officer, Kensaku Konishi, said: "This newly forged partnership is a prime example of how our newly-integrated company has expanded in the scope of providing efficient and effective printing solutions to reach a widening customer base.

"As such, Canon sees this as a start of a long and mutually beneficial partnership with Efficient SofTech in providing innovative and comprehensive print and document imaging solutions to the numerous small and medium enterprises and industries within Malaysia, and soon, within the region as a whole."

"Through our combined expertise, resources and business reach, we are continuously seeking new and innovative business opportunities that will benefit end-users as well as elevate our position as Malaysia's foremost print management solutions company," said Canon Marketing Malaysia president and chief executive officer Melvyn Ho.

"This partnership with Efficient SofTech is a prime example of how Canon is now further able to provide comprehensive printing solutions through our Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8300 12-colour large format inkjet printer and Océ Plotwave 350 Multi-function Plan Printer," said Ho.

"We have been providing comprehensive print and document managing solutions to many large corporations in Malaysia for quite some time and have been working closely with Océ for many years," said Efficient SofTech chief executive officer, Victor Cheah Chee Wai. "Moving forward, we believe this is now an opportune time for us to reach out to those companies that make up Malaysia's largest form of business establishments - the Small and Medium Enterprises. The integration is timely and I look forward to working together with Canon and utilising their strengths in making our newly launched service, a success."

Efficient SofTech is a subsidiary of the MSC (Multimedia Supercorridor) Malaysia status company, Efficient E-Solutions, and has been providing print and data capture IT solutions in Malaysia since 2003.
