Software provider CA Technologies, together with Tech Mahindra, announced last week (March 6) their partnership to develop and deploy end-to-end secured Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for global enterprise customers.
According to a joint media statement, this agreement will leverage solutions from the CA DevOps portfolio - including CA Release Automation, CA Service Virtualisation, CA Mobile App Analytics and CA Unified Infrastructure Management - which will help organisations to realise significant improvements in their integration and testing efforts of IoT apps. On the other hand, Tech Mahindra will contribute its expertise to build and deliver mobile applications.
The two companies said this effort will offer enterprise customers advanced management capabilities resulting in improved operational efficiency and customer loyalty. In addition, this collaboration will also enable both companies and their customers to capture some of the US$3.4 trillion IoT revenue forecasted by industry analysts IDC over the next five years.
"We're excited to work with Tech Mahindra, a CA Premier Partner, on complementary offerings and skill sets to deliver complete Internet of Things solutions that can be deployed within existing infrastructures, and extend to new web and mobile applications," said Alyssa Fitzpatrick, senior vice president, Global Partner Organisation, CA Technologies. "Through this alliance, we will develop, deploy and support our joint customers and help them thrive in the applications economy."
