Technology reseller, Baobab Software, has been appointed as the exclusive reseller of Progress DataDirect in A/NZ.
The software will now be sold by Baobab under a reseller model, as sales of DataDirect were handled in-house.
Progress Software A/NZ managing director, Peter Fuller, said the switch was in order to ensure the correct positioning of the product's new functionalities in the market.
"Baobab was the obvious choice for this change," he said.
"Having previously been a successful reseller on behalf of Progress Software for many years in A/NZ, they were excited about the advancements made in the product, including DataDirect Cloud." Fuller adds that Baobab's experience with Progress means that the reseller understands the product and the needs of the vendor's business.
"With Baobab now managing all renewals and new business opportunities in ANZ, we're excited to see the reaction from our customers and the continued uptake of Data Direct in the region," he said.
