Another step on Digital Journey, RHB signs with startup TableApp

RHB's exclusive partnership with lifestyle firm TableApp is also the Malaysian banking group’s first-ever partnership with a startup.

Malaysia's RHB Banking Group has marked  another step in its 'Digital Journey' plan with an exclusive partnership signed with  local lifestyle solutions  firm  TableApp is part of my its digital journey.


Dato' Khairussaleh Ramli, group managing director for RHB Banking Group, said the agreement with TableApp, an online restaurant reservation portal, also marks RHB's first collaboration with a startup in providing lifestyle offerings and ecommerce payment services.

"We want to create a digital ecosystem around the everyday lifestyle needs of our customers," said Khairussaleh. "Reservations via TableApp can be made free of charge 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and customers will receive instant confirmation. Customers will also be able to buy discounted dining vouchers for premier restaurants that are registered with TableApp.  For RHB's customers, we also offer cashless payment options, for payment via RHB Now and with RHB cards. "

"We will continue to enhance customer experience. RHB customers will eventually be able to pre-order online and pay for meals before arriving at the restaurant," he added.

The TableApp reservation application now has more than 380 restaurants in Malaysia and 100 restaurants in Thailand and is looking to grow the number to 1,000 by end of 2016.
