Akamai Technologies, Inc has recently launched Akamai One Startup Program in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) to empower startups to focus on growing their business, without worrying about the complexity of delivering fast, reliable and secure online experiences for their users.
Through this program, independent startups and accelerators can leverage Akamai's services and technologies for a year with no integration or recurring costs, including its Web and Mobile solutions.
According to a media statement, Akamai's Web and Mobile performance solutions can help to reduce IT costs and extend web infrastructure, deliver responsive user experiences, optimise for both cellular and Wi-Fi connections, and gain key audience insight in real-time.
"Startups need to focus on innovating and bringing their product to market as quickly as possible in order to succeed and continue to secure funding to expand and grow. With Akamai's solutions built into our globally-distributed platform, startups can scale their Internet operations rapidly without having to invest in infrastructure," said Sanjay Singh, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific & Japan, Akamai Technologies. "Akamai One helps startups reduce the complexity of delivering high-performing web and mobile experiences with Akamai's proven CDN technologies, thus setting them up for success."
In line with this initiative, Akamai has also partnered with incubators - such as BlueChilli in Australia, SparkLabs in Korea, and TLabs in India - to help startups succeed by providing products and resources that allow the startups to focus on their core business goals.
These partnerships celebrate the alignment of Akamai and the incubators' pursuit of entrepreneurship and innovation while navigating the challenges and opportunities through a fast, reliable and secure Internet.
