"In general, telecom does not have a reputation for quality," said Higase. "We want to roll out quality to Asia."
Higase said that the service platform will support public, private, and hybrid cloud solutions. It will allow IT managers to locate business applications in closer proximity to end-users. Irrespective of location, customers will have a single Service Level Agreement (SLA) across all services with consistent pricing in a single currency. These services will be available from 1 June 2013 in most of these markets, and across all 10 sites by the end of 2013.
In order to support international customers, KVH will provide 24x7 bilingual support in English and Japanese for all data centre facilities, and multilingual support for KVH Cloud Services, based on customer needs.
