Digital and imaging solutions provider Epson has launched seven new printers that will help reduce operational costs for Malaysian businesses.

Epson Malaysia general manager of sales & marketing division Danny Lee said the new printers offered among the lowest cost per page in their respective classes. "Epson has expanded its low running cost business printer range to provide business customers with new capabilities: the Epson ME Officer 535 is the newest and smallest all-in-one model of the ME Office series and is also the world's smallest all-in-one model inkjet printer while the Epson K-series continues to offer lower cost per page monochrome printing when compared to similarly-prices laser printers."

In addition, he said Epson's new high performance inkjet printers now offer even lower cost per page than the Epson ME Office series, which has built-in networking and is designed for workgroup use.

"Last year, Epson committed to grow our business printing market by lowering the cost of printing for our customers through printer models with extremely low cost per page," said Lee. "This year, we reinforce that commitment by expanding our low running cost models to offer even more capabilities - from space savings, to even lower cost per page for monochrome and colour document printing. We are confident that no matter what our customers' business printing needs are, there is now a perfect Epson inkjet for them to reduce their running costs."

"All the new printers use Epson's Micro Piezo print head, which lasts the life of the printer, and consume up to 70 percent less power than conventional laser printers, helping users save on power costs," said Lee. "All the new printers have been Energy Star certified for their efficient power use."

Incorporated in 1991, Epson Malaysia, which has 54 service outlets in Malaysia, has the exclusive rights to market, distribute and support complete range of Epson products in Malaysia and Brunei.
