In conjunction with the release of this study, KT Ong, country manager - Commercial, Malaysia, Dell EMC, unveiled a new line-up of commercial devices powered by the latest 7th Gen Intel Core processors, which he said have been designed with the future workforce in mind. At the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the US, Dell unveiled personal computer and also upgraded its line of OptiPlex, Latitude and Precision commercial products

The research findings are from a phone-based survey of 327 IT and business decision-makers across China, India, Japan, SEA (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore), Korea, and ANZ (Australia, New Zealand). To further explore geographical variations, Dell also narrowed the focus down to the workforce transformation trends among 52 IT and business decision-makers in SEA, South Korea, and ANZ (Australia, New Zealand). It was conducted at the end of 2016.
