Designing devices for a workforce in transformation in Malaysia: study

A new Forrester study lists the priorities for devices demanded by a workforce adapting to a rapidly transforming industry environment.

 In conjunction with the release of this study, KT Ong, country manager - Commercial, Malaysia, Dell EMC, unveiled a new line-up of commercial devices powered by the latest 7th Gen Intel Core  processors, which he said have been  designed with the future workforce in mind. At the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in the US, Dell unveiled personal computer and also upgraded its line of OptiPlex, Latitude and Precision commercial products

"We understand that the workforce of today is highly mobile and interconnected," Ong said. "We're constantly striving to deliver the best user experience and performance for all of our customers - no matter which product line they choose," said  "With our latest line of commercial products, we're helping people collaborate more seamlessly, be more productive and create new immersive experiences at the workplace."
 
The research findings are from a phone-based survey of 327 IT and business decision-makers across China, India, Japan, SEA (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore), Korea, and ANZ (Australia, New Zealand). To further explore geographical variations, Dell also narrowed the focus down to the workforce transformation trends among 52 IT and business decision-makers in SEA, South Korea, and ANZ (Australia, New Zealand). It was conducted at the end of 2016.
