According to digital imaging and printing systems firm Canon Marketing Malaysia, the new A4 imageCLASS LBP7100Cn and LBP7110Cw laser printers will help Malaysian small and medium enterprises to increase efficiency and productivity.
"Small and medium enterprises [SMEs] and small office/home offices [SOHO]s are always on the look-out for greater convenience as well as cost efficient solutions to their simple printing needs," said Canon Marketing Malaysia director, consumer systems products division, Simon Wong,
"The LBP7100Cn and LBP7110Cw offer all that and more by allowing users within small workgroups to share their printing resources easily, as well as to help small businesses achieve their cost reduction targets," said Wong.
He said the company is "on a mission to make business simpler for as well as to meet the needs of small businesses and home office users. "Designed to provide ultimate ease of use as well as improve user productivity, both printers offer cost and energy savings while delivering consistent high-quality business documents."
Wong said both printers are compact and needed minimal maintenance. "These laser printers also feature a user-friendly operation panel showing new functions such as the 'Go' Indicator button for greater ease of use in managing the document printing processes."
"With the Canon's All-In-One Toner Cartridge 331 design, the toner reservoir, photosensitive drum and waste toner container are integrated into a very compact unit, making toner cartridge replacements convenient and hassle-free," he said.
In addition, wireless printer setup is straightforward, said Wong. "For example, with support for the industry-standard Wi-Fi Protected Setup push button configuration, the LBP7110Cw can easily be added into any secured wireless environment at the push of a button, allowing users to print from anywhere in their home or office."
"Productivity is enhanced with printing speeds of up to 14 pages per minutes [ppm] for both mono and colour A4 sized documents due to Canon's UFR II LT print language," he added. "UFR II LT is a next-generation print language which accelerates document processing while reducing the load on the printer's memory. Canon's On-Demand Fixing technology also ensures quick recovery from Deep Sleep mode, waking the devices after long periods of inactivity in just four seconds or less. All these innovations lead to significant cost and energy-savings, lower downtime and overall higher productivity for SMEs and SOHOs."
