Capcom and Cook & Becker have created a collection of beautiful limited-edition art prints for the remastered HD version of the PS2 classic game Okami.
Each print costs $80 (around £45).
The selection of prints encompasses designs and promotional art from the game, which was released on PlayStation 2 and Wii and has been remastered on PlayStation 3.
Okami is known for its original visual design, Japanese sumi-e inspired cel-shaded artwork and its Celestial Brush gameplay. The game is set sometime in classical Japanese history and combines several Japanese myths, legends and folklore to tell the story of how the land was saved from the serpent Orochi and Yami (darkness) by the Shinto sun goddess Amaterasu, who took the form of a white wolf.
The adventure game was developed by Japanese Clover Studio and published by Capcom. The three Japanese artists that have been mostly responsible for the visual style of Okami are Takeyasu Sawaki, Kenichiro Yoshimura and Mari Shimazaki. Most of the prints in the Okami art collection feature their artwork and design.
Takeyasu Sawaki is a well-know character designer and art director, known for his work on Devil May Cry and El Shaddai, Ascension of the Metatron. Apart from Okami, Kenichiro Yoshimura and Mari Shimazaki are also known for their fantastic character designs for video game Bayonetta
