Also, user paradigm is changing especially with touch screens and mobile devices."
"'Big data' is the ability to use data from multiple sources and to cross correlate and run analytics on different data," said Webster. "An example of how this could be used is the tracking of the growth of industrialisation in Africa or to take data sets from different dataware to study how to slow the spread of diabetes in North America.
The sources of data are expanding dramatically and are expected to grow 50 times in the next 10 years. Both the challenge and the opportunity is what do you with 'big data'."
