ViewQwest has partnered global interconnection and data centre company Equinix to launch the ViewQwest Direct Cloud Connect service for its customers in Southeast Asia.
With the rise of cloud services, there is a growing need for businesses to access mission-critical data and processes in the quickest time, and have secure, direct and dedicated connections to their cloud solutions in order to maximise and realise the full potential of the cloud.
Instead of securing individual connections and negotiating with each cloud service provider, business users need just a single connection from ViewQwest to access Equinix Cloud Exchange, where global cloud service providers have already aggregated. This direct connection also ensures low-latency and high-throughput performance.
"[ViewQwest Direct Cloud Connect service provides] businesses in Southeast Asia the one-stop convenience of being able to connect securely to their preferred cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365 via ExpressRoute, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud and IBM Softlayer," said Vignesa Moorthy, ViewQwest's CEO.
As part of the partnership, ViewQwest has also deployed Equinix Performance Hub which uniquely combines elements of data centres, networking infrastructure and connectivity, and cloud computing access to improve application performance and deliver a globally consistent quality of experience to end users. "Together, ViewQwest and Equinix aim to help businesses in the region simplify and meet their cloud needs through our integrated offering," said Clement Goh, Equnix's Managing Director for South Asia.
