Tata Communications Ltd. has launched the cloud-based Media Ecosystem, a global media platform combining traditional video contribution services with IP-based connectivity.
A press statement by the Mumbai-based managed communications services provider said its new media platform enables seamless global transport and management of content as a cloud-based managed service and supports global media requirements, OTT and mobility applications.
It added that Media Ecosystem gives customers access to services on demand even as it enables content developers and owners to experiment with new formats as well as launch new services and channels.
The press statement said the platform includes asset management, workflow management, cloud-based playout, automation and control, storage and OTT platforms as a service.
