The company is founded by Rubin and CTO P.J. Kerner, a former distinguished engineer at Juniper Networks and CTO of Cymtec Systems, where he worked together with Rubin. Cymtek makes appliances to monitor user activity and scan for malware.

ASP is available now. Illumio's products and services are provided through a usage-based annual subscription model that scales per VEN. Price varies with volume and the length of subscriptions.
