PurpleClay - a Singapore-based consultancy firm for franchising, branding, and customer centric initiatives - has leveraged Acronis Backup Cloud to protect their critical data and backup of all servers and workstations in the company.

According to Acronis, the solution is designed to backup, protect, and restore data from any physical or virtual environment which includes Windows and Mac computers, servers, and mobile devices. Additionally, it automatically backups all the devices and provides a single-window interface. The backup files can be stored locally or in the cloud thus can be used for disaster recovery as well as server migration between different environments.

The Acronis Backup Cloud is delivered as managed service by Acronis' international partner ICONZ-Webvisions (iWV). They will also manage the backup procedures of PurpleClay to ensure that all data protection tasks are performed on time and without error.

PurpleClay chose iWV Acronis-powered Backup-as-a-Service solution.

"Our partnership with iWV eliminates the need to employ our own network engineers. I don't even remember all the passwords. So it is good to know that if there is any issue with the backup, I will be notified or I can make a call to get it resolved," said Gary Loh, Director of PurpleClay.
