Red Hat has announced its collaboration with the cloud channel company, RHIPE as it seeks to expand its presence in three ASEAN counties, namely Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
A press statement by the Raleigh, North Carolina-based provider of Open Source solutions said RHIPE is now the first Red Hat Cloud provider in these three countries.
As such, RHIPE will team up with Red Hat to identify and recruit cloud service providers into the network of Red Hat Certified Cloud providers.
The press statement described the Red Hat Certified Cloud Provider Program as one that assembles the solutions cloud providers need to plan, build, manage and offer hosted cloud solutions and Red Hat technologies to customers.
Formerly known as NewLease, RHIPE is based in Melbourne and also has a presence in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
