Red Hat and Wipro expand open hybrid Cloud partnership

Brian Karlovsky | Nov. 10, 2014
Wipro and Red Hat have struck a deal to expand their partnership to accelerate deployment of open hybrid Cloud solutions.

"Customers and partners around the globe are excited by its potential and are actively evaluating and planning deployments," he said.

"We're excited about working with Wipro to expand OpenStack's reach, and helping to meet this growing interest through joint solutions built around Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, and by combining our mutual OpenStack and Cloud know-how."

Wipro vice president and global head of systems, Anuj Bhalla, said IT environment scenarios were evolving and merging on-premises and off-premises infrastructure set ups.

"With the advent of hybrid environments, we see a lot of synergy with Red Hat's end to end offering that enables customers through the transformation journey of their IT landscape especially on the open stack based Cloud initiatives," he said.

"We are scaling new areas of Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform in our CoE to improve customer experiences."
