Parallels holds its Asia Pacific summit in Singapore

Announces its keynote speakers and conference agenda for the annual gathering.

This year's Parallels Summit APAC will take place in Singapore from 21-22 September at Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort.

Parallels has announced its keynote speakers and conference agenda for the annual gathering of the region's leading cloud services providers and industry visionaries.

This event offers attendees an opportunity to network and meet industry experts from many of Asia's leading service providers.

Service providers will also learn about the latest innovations and advancements in cloud and hosting services.

In addition, Parallels will provide attendees with an exclusive, advance access to the new Parallels SMB Cloud Insights Report for Asia Pacific, as well as updated SMB cloud market data on the China and India markets for the second half of 2012.

"Parallels is excited to host our fourth annual APAC Summit, which has grown to become the region's premier cloud and hosting industry event," said Jack Zubarev, president of Parallels.

Honouring innovators

Parallels Summit APAC 2012 will also honour partners in the region that have shown innovative strategies for future success in the cloud market using Parallels products, solutions and services.

The annual Asia Pacific Partner Awards at the summit also honours innovative and growing hosters and software vendors from across the region. 

Keynote speakers include Singapore-based Fredrik Härén who will explore how creativity can be harnessed into a successful and sustainable business model.

Sandra Ng, group vice president, Practice Group, IDC Asia Pacific, will provide insight into the market expectations SMBs face given the state of the economy and macro-business landscape in the region.

Birger Steen, CEO, Parallels, will share Parallels' vision for the hosting and cloud industry, provide an update on Parallels strategy, as well as a preview of next-generation product roadmap.

Serguei Beloussov, executive chairman of the board and chief architect, Parallels, will examine 'Hosting and Cloud in the Year 2020.'
