Parallels now claims to be the very first vendor to support the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Programme following the recent start of the Parallels SmartStart support for Office 365.
A press statement by the Renton, Washington-based virtualization and hosting provider said SmartStart is a fixed price and low-cost implementation of the Parallels Automation platform.
The platform enables service providers to sell and deliver differentiated portfolios of hosted and syndicated services, with each Office 365 subscription.
Done in less than 80 days, the implementation is offered to Microsoft-approved partners and includes user training and certification, reference service plans and a customized storefront.
The programme complements existing services of Parallels which include Windows Azure Pack, Microsoft Office 365 syndication, Microsoft Lync 2013 Hosting Pack and Microsoft Exchange 2013.
The company further said the offering enables Microsoft channel partners, who deploy Parallels Automation, to immediately offer new Microsoft cloud services as they become available.
